ABOUT EVENT

The Many Faces of Family Violence Conference is an all-day event presented by The Safe Center, The Nassau County Executive’s Task Force on Family Violence and LIU Post. The conference attracts professionals from throughout Nassau County and the surrounding area from the fields of education, medicine, mental health, law enforcement, child protection and social services.

 

This year’s Conference will focus on Domestic Violence, but will also feature workshops on various forms of interpersonal violence, including Child Abuse, Rape and Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking. Full day attendees are Social Work CEU-eligible and will receive 5 credit hours for attending.

$25 per attendee includes full day of programming, 5 Social Work CEUs, conference materials and boxed lunch.
